John Uczekaj, President and CEO
Aspen Avionics’ President and CEO, John Uczekaj, has over 35 years of experience in the avionics industry, starting out as an engineer at Boeing and moving into key management positions at Sperry and Honeywell. While at Honeywell, John was made executive vice president and general manager of the Aerospace Electronics Systems division. Immediately prior to joining Aspen, John was president and COO of The NORDAM Group. John received the Aviation Industry Entrepreneur of the Year in 2012 from the Living Legends of Aviation and was inducted into the Living Legends of Aviation in 2013. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA). Mr. Uczekaj holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Oregon State University and an MBA from City University, Seattle, Washington. John is an instrument rated private pilot.
Todd Hauge, Executive Vice President Strategy, Mergers and Acquisitions - The AIRO Group
Todd has more than 20 years of finance and accounting experience, most recently at WorkRite Ergonomics, Inc, where he was the company’s President, directing all financial functions and activities for the corporation. In addition, Hauge oversaw the development, sourcing, and launch of new products with market-leading features and lower costs, leading to a lower price for the consumers. Prior to WorkRite, Todd held senior-level finance positions at Vestor Holdings, Inc., a private equity fund, and Deloitte & Touche where he was Senior Manager, Emerging Business Services. Todd graduated Summa Cum Lude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Arizona State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of Financial Executives International; American Institute of Certified Accountants; and Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Jeff Weiand, Chief Financial Officer
Jeff joined Aspen Avionics as Chief Financial Officer in June 2021. As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Jeff brings 20-plus years of finance and accounting experience with Fortune 500 companies, large public accounting firms, and smaller entrepreneurial/start-up organizations. His diverse expertise in finance and accounting is underscored with a strategic focus on business growth, profitability through process improvements, supply chain optimization, and organizational development.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a bachelor’s degree in business administration (finance and accounting), Jeff has rapidly risen to leadership roles in major organizations such as Honeywell. He now brings his considerable experience to help grow Aspen Avionics.
Dave Bibby, Vice President Engineering
As Vice President of Engineering, Dave brings 35 years of integrated avionics engineering development experience to Aspen Avionics. Prior to joining the company, he held the position of chief engineer for Honeywell Aerospace’s flight management systems (FMS) Center of Excellence. Additionally, as a member of the next generation FMS team, Dave helped define the development of the next generation FMS for the Boeing 747-8, Gulfstream 650 and Embraer Regional Jet. Most notably, Bibby holds six patents and has earned several technical achievement awards during the course of his career.
Dave graduated with a BSEE in computer engineering from Oregon State University and leads Aspen's engineering staff.

Mark Ferrari, Vice President of Sales and Customer Support
As Vice President, Business Aviation Sales and Marketing for The NORDAM Group, Mark was responsible for revenue results of $350 million. Prior to NORDAM, he had a successful tenure at Honeywell’s Business Regional & General Aviation division where he began as a sales representative and worked his way up to Director of Aftermarket Sales. Mark is a Six Sigma Green Belt and a private pilot with an instrument rating.
Sam Wallace, Vice President of Operations
Joining Aspen Avionics in 2015, Sam brings over 13 years of experience in manufacturing operations experience to the company. He is responsible for leading a large and multi-faceted workforce to help grow and mature Aspen's manufacturing processes.
Sam started his career as a manufacturing engineer for Smiths Detection in Maryland and was later promoted to factory manager for Integrated Systems. In his prior role at Aspen, he held the position of director of quality. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC).
Perri Coyne, Director of Marketing Operations
As Director of Marketing Operations, Perri Coyne brings over 26 years of aviation experience in marketing communication roles to Aspen Avionics. Starting out as a marketing manager for Page Avjet Corporation which later became the Signature Flight Support FBO chain, Perri was a key part of the team to transform the company branding from Page Avjet to Signature Flight Support which now has over 100 locations worldwide and received the employee of the year award for her contributions. Later, Perri joined Honeywell Aerospace, where for 12 years she led the company’s Business and General Aviation avionics marketing efforts and, where she received the prestigious Chairman’s Award for Excellence.
At Aspen Avionics, Perri is responsible for overall branding (advertising, print, digital, video), media relations, lead generation, trade shows, social media, web development and customer relationship marketing. She is a student pilot currently working on earning her private pilot license.
