Aspen Avionics’ ATX100 ADS-B Transceiver Available
Transceiver now integrates with Garmin GNS 430W/530W series navigators
Albuquerque, NM, June 25, 2015: Aspen Avionics announced today its ATX100 ADS-B transceiver will interface with the Garmin GNS 430W/530W series of GPS navigators. Deliveries begin immediately.
“Aspen designs products to work with what aircraft owners already have in their panels. This newly-approved interface allows aircraft owners to use their existing GPS source from Garmin’s GNS 430W/530W navigators and eliminates the need to install a costly antenna system, saving time and money,” said Mark Ferrari, vice president sales and customer support. “Our NextGen transceivers provide an easy and cost-effective way for pilots to meet the upcoming ADS-B Out mandate in 2020,” continued Ferrari.
Aspen’s ATX100 is compatible with Aspen Evolution primary flight displays (PFDs) and multi-function displays (MFDs).
The ATX100 ADS-B transceiver receives and transmits on 978 MHz Universal Access Transceiver (UAT) frequency. The transceiver provides a solution for aircraft equipped with a Mode A/C or Mode S transponder with a compatible WAAS GPS navigation receiver. Further, it receives ADS-B subscription-free weather, traffic, and meets ADS-B out mandate below 18,000 feet.
Aspen's ATX100 is now available for purchase through an Aspen Avionics’ authorized dealer and retails for $2,645.
